Rhodium Plating

Nearly all white gold rings are sold with a rhodium plating/coating on them. That’s what gives that brilliant white mirror like finish, and makes them look so beautiful.

Over time, this plating will begin to wear off, leaving rings appearing dull, lifeless, and with a grey, or sometimes yellow, shadowy appearance.

This is where rhodium plating can really help. You would be amazed at the transformation, especially if jewellery is stone set. They will appear brighter, and really showcase the beauty of the piece and the stones.

If you have any sensitivity to metals, rhodium plating has the added advantage of being hypoallergenic.

I offer a rhodium plating service at my studio in Winchester. I can re-polish and rhodium plate your jewellery within a short period of time and have them looking better than ever.

Prices are quoted on an individual basis, based on the complexity of the design, and the time required for refinishing prior to plating.
